I have a 2000 Holiday Rambler Alumascape, when not in use it is hooked up to power. Ok I am a female so please be patient I will explain the problem to the best of my ability. The trailer was not used for 2 years, go in to check to see if everything is working, turn on a/c, comes on then goes off after a couple of minutes won't come back on. Have an a/c guy come by, climbs on top checks up there no problem, foes inside pulls the cieling panel for a/c fiddles with it then clicks to come on but doesn't the fuse up there blows, replace fuse now nothing regular power going in ok, put in new control box and thermostat we are not getting 12v to a/c. Checked the fuses where the converter is they are ok, have power coming from the battery. unplug the power cord the fridge light is on micorwave display lit up but lights don't come on. about ready to scream! can you help?

"replace fuse now nothing regular power going in ok,"

This one threw me. Maybe a re-phrasing would help my poor tired brain...

Thank you

Our 12V breaker was located under the RV on the driver side so one had to lay on his back to even find it. When it went bad we changed it to one that resets itself automatically.
I didn't even know it was there even after several years of ownership.

Most batteries have a resettable breaker usually mounted on the frame near the battery. Some you push to reset, others require the battery to be unhooked and then rehooked. Use your volt meter to see if you have 12v at the block by the back of the refrig. There's are fuses on your control board(black box by the back of the refrig)that usually has two fuses in it that controls the eye boards for the refrig and a/c.

would there be any reset switches, are there any other panels or anything other than where the breakers, fuses, and converter are

After being continually hooked up for 2 years with a 12 year old converter, the first thing I would check is your battery. Is it dry? How many volts is it actually puttting out? Most appliances depend on the 12 volt control boards to work. Start with the battery.
