No hot water pressure

We have no hot water pressure in our 2002 Itasca Suncruiser. We have drained the tank, disconnected the check valve and still no pressure. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. We are hearing you can blow out the hose but not sure how you do that. Thank You!
  • I have 2 check valves on my Journey. One in the hot water line coming out of the water heater. The 2nd is in the line from city water connection. The line splits. One side furnishing the cold water. The other line goes to the water heater and has a check valve just after the split. I have had both of mine go bad at different times causing me to have no hot water.

Call Winnebago. The tech will be able to look at the plumbing diagrams and tell if you have more that the one. Finding the second one was a pain in the but.
  • Is it just hot water side? If so, did you check the valves on the bypass? If it is all your water. It could be a bad reducer (That you put on the water hose) or regulater you might call it.

I never heard of that second checkvalve before "as mentioned" but it certainly makes sense. See if your has that second check valve.

WOW I learned something new here. Thank You for that info.
  • Thank you for the replies. We are going to call Winnebago and inquire about having 2 check valves. We have no hot water pressure at all, from any sinks or the shower. Cold water pressure is fine and we have no reducer on.
  • Has the hot water heater ever been flushed out or the anode or plug pulled. They can fill with sediment just like the home ones do.
