I here 'Ya...If a guy was smart he would buy a Wen 2K inverter generator on Amazon for $342 and be done with it but the op ask about quiet,no noise at all,alternatives..
From the post, the OP doesn't appear to have a good understanding of what's involved, so misleading advertising makes it sound great but could lead to disappointment. This is where I take issue with many of the proponents of "green" systems. In realty, they often hurt the cause by not acknowledging the limitations.
That's why I've pushed posters who are very positive towards them to answer the question because it's a huge reduction in capability while costing far more.
- If you have minimal power needs, a solar/battery system can work and can be a good option. (not necessarily these prepackaged battery packs)
- If you are expecting anything close to what even a small generator can do, you will be sadly disappointed.
