No power to Onan Quiet Diesel

Senor Ted do you have a 12 volt test light handy?

Just guessing , but I would look at your wiring diagrams to see if there may have been another wire that fell off that went to the generator for some reason.

There may be another wire on the batteries that supplies power to the generator. Check for another cable near post that became loose.

Thank you all for taking the time to read and answer. I pulled the battery tray out and all vables are connected. Test light showed power going to the generator. Unfortunately when i push the start/prime button on the generator, noting. Light does not come on, doesnt activate the fuel pump or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions before I take it to ONAN and pay for their kid's college tuition?

Check for 12v at the switch...could just be a bad switch...also check the generator itself as I have seen remote disable switches on the generator...does the gene start at the generator with the switch there?...if so, then there could be a harness that goes to the switch near the generator loose...if not, then it could be more serious with gene itself and to ONAN it goes which I truly hope not...I would also call Jayco and check to see if support can tell you where there might be a fuse or better yet, exactly where the harness is that carries power to the generator.

Fixed it! Yahoo!!! There is a small panel on the generator above the start/prime switch. Removed the access panel and found two 15amp mini fuses. One was bad. Thank you all so much for your suggestions and help. Happy New Year and safe travels.
