Norcold 6053

What is the name of the part that is the terminus of the gas line. This is the 1/4" aluminum tubing after the shutoff and after the electrical connection. It is where the gas comes out and is ignited in the tube that exhausts thru the chimney. My refer is working fine on AC and DC, but shuts off after 1 second on gas. Looking at it at time of ignition the flame is coming out around the "thing" instead of out of the orifice. There was some mud dobber accumulation around the end, cleaned up as best I can but still not working properly. Think there might be a clog I can't find.
  • Thanks Chris, that's the part I'm talking about. I,m on the road right now but will undertake the disassembly when I get home. For now it's working on DC/AC. On ebay I find several model numbers for the burner assembly, cheapest being $30. And with a new hose $50. Would you happen to know what model # would I need, this is a 1998 or there about year refer 6053.
  • OP again. I've found at least 6 different model numbers for the burner assembly, that all look exactly alike. However no cross reference to my #6053 model refer.
