Norcold freezer door spring
Hi again everyone, yes, another Norcold post.
I heard a slight cracking noise from my freezer door this weekend, and now it isn't spring loaded anymore.
I believe I can pop it out, tighten the spring 1 wrap and put it back in.
My question is to anyone who has had these apart.
Are they glued in or just pop in?
I don't want to take a putty knife to it without asking first.
It is a Norcold N 4103U circa 2009.
Pic attached.
Yes, I can see I need to break out the clorox. :)
It's all been under ice for a while.
