Norcold Refrigerator makes odd noises starting on propane

When I fire up the Norcold double door refrigerator/freezer on propane it makes a loud "glub, glub" sound before it reluctantly starts. It does not make that noise when started on 120v AC.

It also shuts down occasionally when driving in a crosswind, and the alarm sounds.

Any thoughts?

I had something similar and turned out the gas burner had deteriorated a bit and a new one fixed the gurgling and made the flame burn much better (blue with nice shape). I never lost the flame but without the proper outlet at the end of the tube the shape of the flame was incorrect.

This is what the part looks like (this will or likely is different for your model).
