OIL BREATHER CAP

This is a small problem but it's got me. I put oil in my MH the other day and forgot to put the cap back and I lost it on the road. Does anyone know the part number of a replacement. I have an 04 Winne on a W21 with 8.1 engine. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I've tried 3 so far and no go. Is the #12574265 and FC 210 the same. I'm going to Chevy now. You might have known it was special.


The Dorman 42315 was a no go. Mine has a smaller neck than I've been able to fine.

Thanks that is what I wanted, someone who had bought one. I have an Oreillauyo near me. I had done bought 2 and taken them back. Auto-zone said next choice was to order GM. I knew this was the best place to start. Many Thanks Charwan

If it quit using oil with no breather cap then you have a sticking PCV valve. Time to replace t. If you are cheap, like me, you can soak it in lacquer thinner and get the gunk out and put it back on.

You know the strange thing is the engine used to use a qt. of oil about every 500 mile and with the oil cap off it uses no oil and there is no blow by. Your right about putting the rag in it till I can find one. I done tried two caps.
