Hi,

Last fall I found on our boards a flexible drain kit for generators. I've since lost the darn link. They were too busy to sell me just the drain kit as they were putting generators "out the door" for the impending hurricane.

Does anyone have a source? Thanks in advance. (I've tried searching to no avail).

The one I'm looking for replaces the drain bolt and stays attached.
Regards, Don

Got a 22" stubby on the Kubota.

Try to get a correct drain plug to use as an example -- it helps. I had our local THE PARKER STORE make up my hose.

Onto the blind end of the hose I Red Loc-Tite fit a large bushing for the new drain plug. It allows me to get a backup wrench to help.

Adapter fitting - hose -fitting - ball valve - fitting - pipe plug. I loosely supported the weight of mine because it was overly long.

I also fit a remote oil filter adapter and ran that to a universal oil filter plate so the filter mounts vertically. The same filter as Qucksilver -- a Baldwin B97

We use them on our Concrete trucks.

Not the same Gen but the concept is the same.

Hmm, that might work for my snow blower, it has a drain tube. My generators drain is just a spout cast into the engine block, with a coarse thread plastic plug.

Hi GordonThree,

I think this may be the place.

Now, Do I need the 12 mm or the 10 mm?

I've never seen a flexible one, sign me up if the price is right.

I've just accepted that hefting my ef2000is up and holding it over a drain pan was the way the engineers in Japan wanted it done. Physical fitness sort of thing maybe?
