Long story short...the unit can crank for a long time, but now never starts. However, if I push the governor lever toward the back corner of the unit while cranking, setting it to the idle position on the throttle set screw, the unit immediately starts. What needs to be adjusted? The only 3 adjustments seem to be on the governor lever. Or, is there a part failure in the regulator, auto primer, fuel solenoid, etc.that normally performs this function? The unit has been previously repaired for the same problem by a Cummins/Onan distributor.
