Please help assess my 12v system!

Would really appreciate it if some folks with electrical experience could comment on my set up. I don't have an inverter or solar or anything just an isolator and aiming for a really simple setup.

I think that the fuse between the auxiliary battery and the fuse block (via the main switch) needs to be swapped out to 50 amp, because I have used 8awg wire to the fuse block?? I was going to use 4awg through out but had difficulty getting the right ring terminal sizing and connections and that's why there's different gauges in there.

Any other issues that anyone can warn me of? Thanks in advance!!

Hmmm. I have a 4 awg ground wire from the auxiliary to the chassis. But only 8 awg negative from the fuse box back to the auxiliary, and positive wire coming into auxiliary battery is 4 awg. So I guess I need to replace that negative 8 awg with a 4 awg?

Ground wire size should match largest wire connected on the positive.
Not really indicated on the drawing.

I am not familiar with Battery Doctor Isolator. The standby draw seems high at 300 milliamps.

Thank you both!! ... is there a trick to the photo thing?? and I'm glad to get confirmation of the 50 amp fuse. I'll swap it out straight away. Other than that, there's no problem with the mixture of wire gauges from 4 to 6 to 8?

125 amp fuse is a bit large for #8 wire. Go 50 amp.
