Pre-heater hose

For those of you who own a motorhome with an Onan 4KY Spec K generator, please be aware that most likely your generator is missing the pre-heater hose, part no. OAN503-1351. I recently removed my generator and noticed this hose was missing. I went on the Internet and noticed that about 90% of generators are missing this hose. There is a round hole behind and above the carburetor where one end of the hose is inserted. The other end of the hose is routed behind the starter. I believe that without this hose, hot air from the flywheel shroud is sent to the top of the motor instead of being vented down and to the back of the generator.
