There are much chealer and quieter choices, plus there is no Predator 2200w inverter generator. Just the 2000w.
For example, you can get an A-1 Power 2300w inverter generator that has a 52db noise rating, for $400 at Sam's Club.
Now the Predator 3500w inverter generator is a great buy, for quietness and price.

I just bought a Maxpeedingrod 3500 watt generator, so far I really like it. The only reason I bought it is to run the AC otherwise we have enough solar and battery's for everything else.

Neighbor has aPredator 3500.
I am surprised how quiet it is.

The Predator Inverter generators have gotten good reviews, I have a friend with one, I have a champion 3100 dual fuel inverter model, I have used the LP option only twice, but it turned out handy too have

Westinghouse iGen 2500 will start most A/C units. Less expensive than two 2000W Predators.

That's why I went with the max 3500 it only weighs around 50 pounds and it fits in the back seat area of my truck. I think the predator is around 125 pounds.

We have the Westinghouse igen2500 and it starts and runs our AC just fine. It gets good gas mileage and is quite. Got it on sale a couple of years ago for $399. Not heavy for this old man. Pulls double duty as hurricane power and camping buddy. Don't know how long it will last but so far so good.

possibly true for you, not necessarily true for everyone else. Most people could lift 100 lbs off the floor, but not get it over their head. Your thinking of it as an all or nothing proposition. I tend to think of how to make things easier. What if you was lifting 100 lbs, but only had to get it part way to your knees - twice. What do you need to lift it halfway to your tailgate the first lift, and then complete the lift up to the tailgate the second lift - a simple box, stool, milk carton, etc.? I have r or 5 folding stools around the house of various sizes, each rated at least 300 lbs.

My daughter (HF freight supervisor) says "The Jayco people are using the 3500 for their trailers. I am currently recommending the new dual fuel generator because most of the locals do not understand they have to clean and exercise their genny every 3 to 4 weeks. With propane, they can just crank it up. Don't forget to get the warranty, especially for the gas gennies. That way you can just return it when the carburetor lacquers."

FYI, the running watts is Gasoline: 3900; Propane 3600... 5000 watts is the surge watts and it weighs 110lbs. I do dislike how the fuel use is for the genney running at 25% load. Most gennies list fuel consumption at 50%.
