Problem with pilot light in oven

High everyone,

I just recently began using my Atwood Wedgwood Vision Oven in my rig and am having a problem. When it reaches temp and the main burner goes out it seems the the pilot will also go out and therefor preventing the main burner for reigniting. I did a visual check everything looks clear, have a full LP tank, valve is open full on the tank, all other burners on stove look great, and when the main burn is running in the oven it burns perfectly and to proper temp. I have heard there is sometimes a way to adjust the pilot or if you guys have any other suggestions I'd very very grateful.

Thanks!

  • Replace the pilot light assbly. 2 things cause this
    1. The pilot light assbly
    2. The Main Tstat.
  • I got an old TC one time that had similar issues. I put a shop towel under the pilot area and washed the parts down with carburetor cleaner. It melted a bunch of carbon off and the oven worked great from then on.
