Proflex caulk and fender skirts
There is a caulking seam along the top of our fender skirts which has pretty much failed for the full length on each side. Due to flexing while in transit I guess.
Question is, I assume fender skirts are typically HDPE plastic? Almost nothing will stick to HDPE so would it be a waste of time re-caulking it? I see that some TTs don't use caulking at this seam but I *think* it's needed on ours, at least for part of it where it transitions from the fiberglass sidewall to aluminum J-wrap. Maybe it's not needed though?
