I have ran into this a lot with the policy of "we ship same day retailers". They only printed a label, it will be 2 days before it moves anywhere. The worst trick is what UPS calls Surepost which means after we kick it around a few days we will send it to USPS to do the same and you save 1$.
I HATE SUREPOST. I'm paying the retailer for delivery to my house and then without notifying me they ship Surepost. The only problem is that USPS does not deliver to my address out here in the boonies and I have to drive 10 miles and wait in line for 10 minutes to get my package. I spend more on getting my package than what the original shipping cost was! :M
