Could be, you have the alarm set. Here is a link to AWM910 owners manual.
I had a similar issue with a Concertone unit. I don't know how, or if, I did it, but, the alarm got set somehow. Instructions for turning it off, were burried in the manual. Your AWM910, has an alarm function.
