Hello, everyone,I'm looking for a good-quality tire inflator with a gauge on it, the type that you can hook to an air hose, either latch or hold the chuck onto your valve stem, then fill the tire and read the gauge as you go. My requirements are that it be accurate and go up to at least 90 psi, and I prefer a dial gauge. I would consider a digital gauge if someone really highly recommends one, though. I have looked on Amazon and done some web searching, but have gotten confused by mixed reviews on all of them that I have looked at. I don't need a dual-head chuck, but will take it if the best one comes that way.Any suggestions, or better yet, have you used one of these you are really happy with?Thank you, safe travels,Regan

I suggest a Campbell Hausfeld Cordless Rechargeable Inflator would be a good one. I dont own one personally, but i researched it a bit. Thanks, Beechmanbopp,I have a couple of portable compressors, but what I am looking for is a chuck with a gauge on it, that I can put on my air hose coming off of my big compressor at home. Something like this:Tire Inflator GaugeThis one only goes to 60psi though, not enough for my truck.

I use the Milton it goes from 10 to 160 Lbs and is very accurate and has a bleeder valve and am VERY happy with it after trying a few others.

An accurate digital gauge that I use is the Tektron 5941 100 PSI gauge. It is easy to read in the dark. I also use an Auto Meter 2343 analog gauge with a dial readout which is also accurate.

My favorite is one with a 8" stem that I bought at a truck stop for $45. It too is accurate.

The digital gauges I have bought have tended to be less accurate than the analog ones with the round dial readout.

My MV50 reads about 5 psi high while running. Adjust accordingly and it is easy.

I've had a couple different models and they never seem to be even close to the pressure indicated. I gave up using them. Including a Milton.

I like my ViAir 88P a lot. Quick and quiet. But you do have to turn it off to get an accurate reading on the dial.

The Milton 501 that Iamichabod linked to above is an industry standard. They are used in shops and garages all over.
