Refrigerator switches
There are two separate switches at the top jamb of my refrigerator. One says "Low Ambient", the other "Climate Control". Thinking my door light switch was bad (stayed on), I replaced it. Same scenar...

1. LOW AMBIENT Leaves the interior light ON to stop freezing of items stored close to the evaporator fins when outside temps are not hot. Usually items like lettuce
2. Climate control is a 12 volt heat strip in the outer metal frame around the inside metal flange where the Freezer and lower doors are. The purpose is to stop any possible condensation drops on that frame. VERY RARE for those water drops to happen.
3. LEAVE switches OFF unless you experiance the problems above. Doug
