Norcold 1210 that is 3 years old. Do the problems with these ever stop? Seems as if it is always having some kind of problem. Right now it is sitting out there with the freezer around zero but the refrigerator is warm. I have not checked it yet but it was working fine until I moved the DP to do some other work. It is hooked up to shore power always. I will check the thermister this morning. Why is the freezer working and the frig not?

Checked this morning and frost on the coils. I put a thermometer in there to see if its cool as it should be---more later. Still need to check the little fans up the chimney. It has been 90+ with high humidity and the sun is right on that side in the afternoon when it is hotter.

Checked it Friday evening late, seemed cool but the coils seemed to be defrosting. Water dripping off of them. Closed it up and left it alone and will check this morning.

Thanks everyone. Doug you have never let me down, so----Where the DP was parked without the jacks activated the front was down and where it is parked now the nose is up. I leveled it just now. Yesterday I got on top and it appeared the little fans up there were not working. It was to hot to test the thermostat so I put a fan on the bottom to increase the air flow up over the coils. This morning it seemed a little cooler in the frig, fins felt COOL not cold. Lets see what leveling it does.

Not true on a RV refer. True on most residential refers. RV refers have 2 separate cooling tubes. One for the freezer and the lower for the refer. Doug

Which model Dometic? The ONLY model Dometic that has such a possible problem is the Side By Side 1292, but even that had separate coils for the freezer and Refer. There is no air egress from the freezer to the refer section and the Temp is controlled BY the refer section. Doug

I had a customer with your exact problem. Worked perfect on his week long trips. ALWAYS performed to spec when he left it at the Service center for over 3 weeks. He takes it home and then he calls within a few days stating the Lower section warms up. He stated it was level at his farm house concrete pad. We sent a driver out to verify his parking conditions and found he was NOT parked within the Norcold specs. What I found out was, BECAUSE the refer was operating correctly when he parked, the off level caused a reduction in flow of the cooling system. What confused us was WHY the refer DID NOT throw a NO CO code and shut the refer down which it should have. Found out the NO CO parameters would NOT work when the refer was already down to normal temps and then never turned off and then parked off level. Once he stabbed the jacks and leveled the RV within level specs he never had another problem. Sometimes a VISUAL for level is not that accurate. May NOT be your problem but your complaint points to this. Doug
