Replacement for Lowrance XOG GPS?
I currently use a Lowrance XOG GPS (dash/windshield mount) which has been discontinued. I love this unit, but it's not going to last forever and I'd love to replace it with a unit with similar features.
The Lowrance XOG has the capability to display current speed, elevation, miles driven, miles to destination, and other information on one screen. This info can be custom positioned in different locations and font sizes on the screen. I especially love the elevation feature especially when I'm towing. When I see the elevation starting to increase, depending on the rate of change, I can downshift accordingly without all the drama that comes with doing it at the last second. It's amazing to me how many times I think I'm going downhill, when in reality I'm going up :)
Is there a dash/windshield mount GPS capable of showing speed, elevation, miles driven and miles to destination on one screen/page without having to scroll through different screen/pages? I should add that the Lowrance XOG is a fully functional automotive GPS unit (with voice commands and realtime map displays/directions). It's not a handheld unit.
Thanks!
