Rockwood windjammer 3065w slide won't go out

I have the above camper. While putting the slide out it made a funny noise and the same when brought in. Spoke with my dealer who can't get me in til 7/31. Had a trip planned and when we arrived the manual arm to put the slide out is dangling and not attached to anything. So the slide is in and will not go out at all. Obviously something came undone. Any suggestions? I am mechanically inclined just never played with am Rv slide/slide motor/manual slide arm. Let me know thanks

I don't know the answer and maybe someone else can help but one suggestion is to post this question over at the Forest River owners forum. Lots of Windjammer owners there and they may have encountered this.
