Roof air, compressor isolator replacement

94 Toyota with what I am sure is a OE 11,000 btu Dometic brisk air.

AC is far too loud, but on occasion is horribly loud. Pulled the cover and looked it over. The compressor isolators are in pretty poor shape and can cause a loud racket Under certain conditions.

Looking at this, to replace the isolator bushings would require lifting the compressor and possibly the evaporator.

This is 25 year old tubing and I am afraid to disturb it. Any suggestions on replacing isolators?

You should be okay. Like was said, just be careful. Finding replacements may give you a little trouble. Ask your local refrigeration parts house if they'll help. Sometime they're picky about who they'll sell to but they all have a "cash sales" customer in their list.

If all the vibration caused by it running hasn't broken the tubing, carefully and slowly lifting it to replace the rubbers shouldn't cause harm.

Just arm chairing it here, without seeing what you're up against.
