Well the rubber seal has 'shrunk' for age and exposure.
Mine have been that way for several years.
I re-positioned first one by pulling/pushing seal around window until gap was closed up tight only to find it had shrunk again a few months later
I have thought about using some black caulking to fill gap but figure rubber seal would just shrink away from it on both ends leaving a glop of black caulking
Windows do not leak because glass is laid onto inner frame over a bead of silicone caulking then rubber seal (really a trim piece) installed.
