One easy way is to remove the old one, and get a new piece that's the same length plus an inch or three. Seems to me you should be able to trim fairly precisely to length when you're installing it.
You could also just compute the perimeter of a rectangular window (twice the width plus twice the height) and realize that, with radiused corners, you'll end up with a little extra. (Specifically, I figure it should be (8-2pi)r extra...or about five extra inches if you have 3" radiusing. I guess you could also be a hero and compute the exact perimeter, but personally I'd prefer to overestimate slightly and have to trim a bit off than to end up with slightly too little.)
