Running air compressor off deep cycle battery
Hey guys, I have a question. I have a Viair 90P air compressor that requires clipping on to the battery. It's for my truck and the hose won't reach my RV tires unless I unhitch. I'm wondering...could I clip on to the deep cycle battery in my 5th wheel and run it? It would be nice if I could do that instead of getting a separate air compressor for the RV tires.
I assume the battery has the juice since I'd only need to run it for a few seconds to top off the air, but I'm wondering if it would cause any sort of damage to the RV systems. Also, if it will work, should I unclip the battery leads first and/or use the battery disconnect switch?
This is the battery that I have in the 5er - http://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Maxx-Group-Size-24-Marine-Battery/20531538
Thanks
