When I was choosing our new generator earlier this year, I found you tube very helpful. There you can find videos of the various generators running, DB comparisons, etc. After watching one video comparing the Honda 2000 to the Champion 2000, the Honda easily started a saw while running two fans while the Champ barely got the saw started while off eco mode and overloaded when the guy tried to start the saw again. So I'd have to agree with the above on the Champion.
I don't know the DB level of the Ryobi but the videos make it sound rougher than either the Champ or Honda. In contrast, Eco-worthy released a 2000w inverter model without a eco mode. It sounds like I started one of my RC planes and left it at half throttle. It's not as good as first hand experience but better than just reading DB stats in the specs.
