Agree - but I've had problems finding a Chevy dealership that can also handle the size of an RV - many have workshops/ramps that are too small.

To pile-on the misery - I checked the air pressure in the front suspension air-bags a couple of days ago - one was zero and I couldn't get any air into it? I crawled underneath and found that when CW had replaced the swaybar bushings, they had crimped the air-hose leading to this airbag - the hose was routed next to the swaybar bushing bolt. It was very obvious, shows the lack of care and attention of CW "mechanics".

Update - booked-in at Knoxville CW, explicitly discussed on the phone the differential oil leak (where the propshaft enters) and sent them a photo of it 10 days in advance, they said no problems.

The job took 3 nights in a hotel rather than the agreed-upon 2, when I went to pick it up they had not even looked at the diff leak - said they couldn't do it - even though they said differently 10 days earlier. The service manager skulked away and hid, leaving me late to get to my meet-up in the Smoky Mountains and it clearly wasn't worth ranting at the employee.

I asked if they had at least checked the diff oil, he said they had.

That night I went under to check, the diff filler plug had not been touched in years.

4 days later when I came back to my RV (after sleeping in shelters on the AT) I had a flat tire - I had asked CW to install valve extenders on the back, clearly they did not do a very good job of it.

I'm done with CW, this is my third bad experience in a row - I'm not picky, but not answering calls or returning messages or not doing what they said they would do (after clear emails with photos to confirm) across three different CWs (they installed the wrong leisure batteries in California for me, then got annoyed when I asked for the correct ones, the ones they had listed on the emails from me and their internal work-order) seems to show that the service departments have systemic problems in customer service - poor attitudes and poor delivery.

CW Nashville experience:

Phoned once - got bumped-around and onto a voicemail.

Phoned twice - again bumped around and to voicemail

Phoned third time (different day), bumped around, left a message on the voicemail to call me back.

Phoned 4th time (2 days later) as hadn't had a call back - got put on hold, gave up after 14 minutes.

I wouldn't rush to CW Nashville!

I called CW Knoxville (as passing by after NV) - got to service straight away, guy who answered was sensible and competent and knew what he was talking about, am now booked-in there instead.

That's been my experience with CW - highly variable.

Thanks for the comments everyone - I have not been especially impressed at CW so was hoping to find somewhere else, but it looks like CW it is.

Bankston is on Music Valley Drive down the street from CW. A completely separate business from them. They have a small lot and no RV service there. CW or Cullum & Maxey would be your best bet in Nashville.

Maybe, but Bankston started selling out of CW parking lot several years ago. Now they control most of CW store in Nashville. After the CW remodel. There is very limited to NO RV parking in the store lot.
Place is fenced off. Really hate to go to this location anymore.
Marcus sure screwed up here.

McCullem Maxey does not do service work. I bought our MH there. Tires and engine work even Satellite service. They send you someplace else.
