sewer line upgrade - need to replace cap and sewer hose

The cap with the bayonet clips needs replacing, also my stinky slinky has a hole. Is there a recommended โ€˜systemโ€™ for all this? My slinky lasted 3 years before developing 2 holes. I guess thatโ€™s just the expected lifespan. I know some have a clear elbow they hook up to the sewer line, Iโ€™m not sure I really want to see more than I need to!

so: stinky slinky plus sewer cap upgrade, let me know your thoughts.

Caps are mostly generic. Any RV store. Wal*mart, and many hardwares have 'em

Hose. I like the Tetford I think it's the Sentenal now days but it's a heavy duty

Where do you store your hose? If you keep it in the bumper it will not matter what hose you get as the rust inside will wear holes in any hose. Get a fencepost with caps or a round plastic sewer hose storage pipe. A good cap is a clear one with a garden hose fitting on it so if there is any leakage you can control the release of it. Not fun but better than pulling the 3" cap with fluids behind it.

Dutch has good Ideas and I use the Rhino brand too.But I like a Clear Elbow connected to it so I can see if the tank is clean after dump and rinse

As for the cap I like the ones with a handle, much easier to use with these old hands,Like this one it also comes in clear. the small cap is useful to drain anything into the hose doing away with that surprise when opening the large cap.

I'm trying some sealant spray on one of our hoses that leaked from day one. I'll let everyone know if it works. I connected our cap with a length of 1/16th inch cable that is too short to let the cap drag if forgotten.
As for brands I favor Rhino right now because of the way it collapses and stays collapsed.
For caps whatever appeals to you, Camco is the most common.
