They get snow covered during winter and then they don't do much. I can pretty much eliminate my parasitic load by pulling a fuse, so just shoveling them off from time to time if it sticks around for weeks and it is fine. The wind will probably keep them blown off in GF. With the low sun angle I get about 25% of peak power on a sunny winter day.
