Shaw Direct in Yuma

Question

I am curious about the user satisfaction with the Winegard Carry-out satellite system for Shaw Direct. In particular, how does it work in Yuma? And during rainy days anywhere? I know that the Trav'ler is the system of choice but, the price is quite high compared to the "carry-Out'. Any advice is welcome.

It doesn't give you programming in HD. That is a deal breaker for me.

The Carryout for Shaw should not really work at all in Yuma according to Winegard.  You could setup and open face antenna on a tripod with great success.

Does the carry-out even work with Shaw?

Only the specific Carryout designed for Shaw.  It is a completely different unit from the standard Carryout.
