Mine's a big 5000 watt inverter by ZLPower. Fan runs continuously when the device is on.
There's a yootoob of a guy in the Australian outback using two of these to power his house. Been on continuously for 2 years, never shut down, never a glitch.
I think the fans are as reliable as the rest of the inverter, if not more so.
