Slide Creep!

Does the Lippert 643150 have a override valve? I don't recall seeing any type of release lever or anything.

NO, unless you release the pressure, it will spew retracted or extended. There is ALWAYS pressure on a Hyd slide system. What you do is release the override valve/s and let the slides relax. That removes the pressure. You will then just get a small amount of fluid drip out. Doug

I tried to find a parts breakdown but I couldn't, but by looking at a it I think it's the same setup as my Monarch pump. When you look at the pump where the hoses are on both sides you will find a large hex fitting, remove them and you will see a screen and ball check mounted in the hex nut. The ball check is what stops the fluid from flowing back to the tank and all it takes is a small piece of dirt and the slide will creep. I cleaned mine by using hot water and soap, the ball is easy to depress for cleaning. I just shake it in the water rinse and let dry. You will also find a spool valve with a spring on each end, just put it back in the way it came out, because of the way yours is mounted it should stay in the pump.

Yes it's a 643150

You may not have any solenoids. Mine does not. I would not worry about a little creep in the bedroom slide. It maybe caused by some air in the system or just temperature change. My bed slide will relax at times. Not much. It is the lightest slide of the bunch and will move before the others. Any changes in the pressure shows up there first.

Is your pump 643150?

It's also possible that the cylinder has an internal leak that won't be visible.

4 hoses suggests the valves are there also, ie a hose to each end of the hyd cyl, 2 slides and 2 cylinders. Somewhere there are valves that control the fluid direction for each slide ie in/out. When closed the slide will not move unless there is a leak. Check the hoses and hyd cyls to make sure there are no leaks anywhere.
