Slide out attachment question

Question

I have a 2005 Komfort 28 foot 5th wheel with a 139 inch slide out. The slide operates in and out fine and locks in place in both positions. My question is that when the slide is in the halfway position, it seems to teeter on the mechanism. Not a lot but if I am in the trailer I can rock the slide up and down a inch or two. Just wondering if this is normal or is there something loose. The slide comes in and out at a slight vertical angle but locks straight into place when all the way in or out. The slide is a Lippert.

Yes, it is normal. A LOT of slides do that when the have under frame ram attachments. Doug

I've seen mine teeter a little also at the balance point and always considered it normal. As long as it seals well both in and out I'm happy.

Normal.......They are designed to be fully IN or OUTWhen moving it has to transition up and in or down and out so there is going to be a 'tipping point' at that transition
