Solar panel prices going up

For a while now we have heard the prices on some of the stuff affected by the tariff would be going up. I was checking for 150w panels and they seemed high, the lowest being $414 shipped for a pair. I checked Solarblvd and noticed the cheapest 24v panel they had was $170.

So is the tariff taking hold as old stock piles run out or will the Chinese just keep selling them cheaper and cheaper to offset it?

I dont know what happened but I bought 4 of these for $620 delivered about 5 weeks ago.

    $620 for 4

If you paid $620 for all 4 panels, it is a pretty good deal. If you paid $620 per panel, you paid about $400 to much for EACH panel!

This place sells a 140 watt panel for about $229 a few weeks ago. I don't know how many they have in stock though.

SunElec.com They have buyers who go to China and visit the solar panel producers, inspect them, and buy them by the shipping container full!

    Good luck,

    Fred.

$620.00 for 4 of them including shipping from solar blvd.

4 weeks ago first week of june
i ordered (3) 100w panels from Windy Nation via Amazon
    $137.99 per panel
came out to $448.XX shipped from NJ

i could have got 120w or 130w different seller for about the same price
BUT,,they didn't fit the available space

that $415 price doesn't seem Bad at all
  • If anyone has a crystal ball that translates Wu I would dearly love to see what lies ahead for China. Man it's a real mess over there.

That's one of those ridiculous stupidly high prices

Those panels or similar panels are still available at a decent price

    Yep. This one is better.
    Two

I think solar blvd has some decent prices on squareish shape 24 volts

Have you checked the China stock market lately? It's in a free fall and a lot of changes are coming over there.
