Splendide washer/dryer combo door will not open?

Hello, our Splendide washer/ dryer door will not open .
Just finished a wash cycle and I want to remove clothes before I set the dryer cycle. Now it will not open! Please , any ideas of what to do? Thank you.

Since the OPs question seems to have been answered...

My Washer-Dryer showed up yesterday bearing an armload of freshly pressed clothing. Thoughtthis would give everyone a smile...

It sounds to me as if there may be some water left in the tub. Remove the piece of wood in front of the machine. There's a plug that can be unscrewed. Sometimes a coin can get lodged in the drain and not let all of the water drain. I've had this happen to me once. Good luck!

Call splendide service they are good to work with on the phone. It happened to us and they walked us through procedure to get it open

Wont work if the plastic handle is broken like mine was. Took me a while to work a screw driver in where the plastic handle pivots and finally I was able to work the latch open. Pretty common occurance as when I called they knew exactly what the problem was and had the parts on the way same day.

Might try unplugging it waiting then try the door.

Latch is broken. Had that problem last year. Pry the door open remove clothes call westland sales in Portland and order the new latch assy. Takes about an hour to replace.

Have to wait til the end of the cycle and it has about a minute or two time delay.
