Stickers

Hello, we just got a new (new to us but really used) 5th wheel and we love it. Just got back from a trip and the stickers on it are cracked and peeling. Do any of you have an easier way than the old fashioned blow dryer and scraper? It may take me until our next trip in the SUMMER to them all cleaned off and new installed lol.

  • Yep, 3M Eraser wheel works great! I removed all the graphics on my 34 RV with one (well actually it took two). I used my cordless drill. FYI, You need to keep the drill motor speed a bit low or you will burn, or yellow the fiberglass siding.
  • As 96Bounder30E noted, the 3M eraser works well but also note that he is using an air tool to power the eraser. You'll over heat an electric drill motor and burn your hands.

  • I'm going to get my husband a couple of the 3M eraser wheels and put him to work! Thank you for the images too.
  • 3M makes a drill mounted "Eraser wheel" that is about the easiest thing you will find to remove faded decals......Years ago I restriped my first motorhome.....I started with the heat gun and a plastic scraper....I got tired real fast of the burned finger tips......I finished the job with the eraser wheel

  • I use a heat gun and a rubber scraper. If I was doing a large area I would have the gun and a good chemical.
  • 3M makes a spray decal remover you might try that. Should be able to find it a a GOOD auto parts store. But I would test it on a small area first.
