stubborn alarm

2012 RT 170...had my propane/CO alarm go off...dealer said they couldn't find the problem...went off again and pulled the fuse and turned off the propane. I am taking it back for the service tech. to get to the bottom of it. Has this happened to anyone out there? Suggestions? :h
  • Everything from air freshner to onion peels in the trash can will set these things off.

X2 many things can set them off

  • Take it to a propane dealer and determine whether you have a propane leak - if no leak - then replace the detector. Pretty much what the "dealer" should have done.
  • Not sure when yours is going off, but I had a problem with batteries overcharging and gasses released would make alarm go off. I plug in at home which is where I store our MH and disconnect battery to be sure they do not overcharge.
