Anyone had problem with shore line not working but generator working fine. Have plugged shore line into 50 amp service but nothing in coach working. Start generator and ac and every thing else works. Does transfer switches go bad.

Mine went bad on my Southwind and I found it was mounted behind circuit breaker box. A rubber mallet applied to the switch occasionally, made it work until I could get it changed out. I had the new one mounted on the floor where I can get at it.

Transfer switch failure is almost a weekly thing here.
Open the cover and get a peek inside.

Hi,

Yes, Transfer switches do fail--particularly if they are switched under load.

Yes. And wiring, connectors, plugs, etc between the ATS and pedestal can go bad. And even the pedestal plug can go bad and don't overlook a tripped CB.
