- wa8yxmExplorer IIIGee.. I do C/F conversions in my head on the fly.. No need to reset the device,
Oh by the way did you know your body is Metric? yup, sure is
(98.6-32)+5/9 = 37 on the dot. Your body is Metric, no 10s - BFL13Explorer IIIn 1964, before we went metric "up here" I had a job where I had to log temps in Celsius, but the thermometers were marked only in Centigrade and Fahrenheit. I used to spend a lot of time converting F to Celsius (no calculators then either!)
Much later I found out what Centigrade was! :( - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerOooooooo but a 122F day sounds so much more impressive than a blah 50c
- filrupmarkExplorerThanks for all the help.
- TUCQUALAExplorerI'm guessing that your "fireplace" has a remote. If so, maybe there is something in/on the remote or menu. Just a thought, AND maybe, a little help!!!
- DrewEExplorer IIDo you have a manual or instructional pamphlet for the fireplace in the informational binder/manual that presumably came with your RV? Other than that, it's probably going to be hard to figure out how to switch it back without finding a maker or model number (which might involve temporarily unmounting the fireplace from the wall).
One possibility to try is disconnecting all power to it for awhile. I would guess that it's 120V only and hopefully on its own circuit, so flipping its breaker off should suffice in that regard. Maybe it will reset itself to a nice default of Fahrenheit temperatures.
The electric fireplace in my S&B house (the only one I own) only has heat settings of high, low, and none...no thermostatic control of any sort there.
