Tow Dolly

I am considering buying a tow dolly, my RV is a 2015 Leprechaun coachmen 32 foot class C. The tow dolly I was thinking of has electric brakes and my RV has the correct electrical out let and receiver hitch to match the tow dolly. But I have looked every where in the cab and through out the RV for any additional items needed but cannot find anything else. On the shift arm at the end it has a button to push when towing something but that is all I have. Is there something else I need or should I change to a dolly with surge brakes?
Thanks in advance for you answers.

I've never used an electric brake system; therefore, can’t say if it’s better or not than surge brakes but I do have a Demco KarKaddy SS dolly that includes surge brakes and a break away system. I've driven over 50,000 miles with it, in all kinds of terrain (see map below) and am well pleased with it. A dolly with surge brakes can be safely pulled with any vehicle that meets the hitch and vehicle requirement for what you’re towing.

If you select surge brakes, you will not need a brake controller. You will also need a breakaway system.

You will need a brake controller, look up brake controllers at etrailer.
