Hmmm ... when we "boondock" in our motorhome we have no issues with running the (built-in) genny as required (we're away from other campers). We do it all the time when using the microwave.
If we had a convection/microwave combo I guess we'd also run the genny to power it when boondocking. From a generator run-time perspective, about how long do convection ovens take to cook items? Are we talking about ultra-long generator run-times to power a convection/microwave combo when the combo is in the convection mode?
