Tracing wiring in roof

Question

I need to find the wiring for my dome lights. The camper manufacturer has given me a general idea of where it is in the roof. I'd like to know as accurately as possible before I start making holes in the ceiling.

I've used my Fluke Pro3000(TM) Tone & Probe Kit to trace Ethernet cable behind walls successfully. Anything better out there.....that I can afford?

Just take down the nearest dome lights and see which direction the wires run...you can take them out of the ceiling without disconnecting them.  In the low-cost world of RV construction you can bet the wires run the shortest possible path.
