1970's Chevy 350 pcv and breather grommets might be just the thing for the cables. Look on the help wall at Napa or Advance for them. Define the fuse box you want a little better please. Do you mean a circuit breaker?

The old set up had a 50 amp fuse. Unfortunately, its a smaller wire gauge. My wire is 4 gauge and Id like to find a fuse 50 amp block on 4 gauge wire. I also need the short 6" jumper in 4 gauge with rings on both ends.

I have worked with several type boxes for thing like this and one should plan for the final product before you select the box.

I know this is abit late for your project but the side mount truck tool box is an excellent box for storing batteries. This side area is also very excellent for adding box vents, battery bank switches, fuse blocks, terminal blocks, etc that you are going to need to really dress up your installation to good professional look.

I don't see much leeway in your new box to support many of these additional worthy ideas.

When I run cables and control circuits to/from the battery boxes i like to use the PVC multi-outlet electrical junction boxes (LOWES). These are mounted directly to the battery boxes and then the center is drilled out to gain access to the box. Then cables can be installed back to the trailer using PVC flex conduit protecting all of the cables from the weather etc. I always like to come into the trailer to an inside wall right next to the tongue area and mount other battery system items, inverter, dc fuse panels etc on a panel. Hopefully you can come into the pass-thru storage area that is usually right next to the front tongue area.

Using this planning all cables are protected from the weather, as well as all the access holes etc are protected from insects etc from entering the trailer.

Isn't this about a grommet ?
Its automotive,....go to Napa or any decent auto supply, they have anything you need, including any type fuse block.
Or is there something special about a Trojan,,,, other than the price that is ?

Don't forget about the hole saw you'll need to cut a round hole

To make a grommet of any size, obtain a length of (1/4 or 3/8") rubber fuel line tubing, slit it with a razor blade and install around the hole in the battery box.

Any hardware store has a grommet.

They do.. But only for thin sheet metal. They wouldnt stay put on the 3/16" material I have..

I decided to come in from the bottom for a clean look.
