MY BAD

I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED FOR AND FOUND THIS SITE A LONG TIME AGO.

I wonder how many fraudulent UL labelled products I own?
  • Vietnamese 33 brand beer was laced with formaldehyde. New RV rigs have more carcinogenic vapors than you can believe. Three-eye city.
  • I can hand you two carrots, one soaked in formaldehyde and one that is labeled "Organic". Which would you rather eat? They're both carrots, the only difference is in the added chemicals.
  • Luvit! A carrot is either a carrot or it is not. So the salesman shows you two carrots and says, "This one is Organic, and costs 20 cents more, but it is worth it because it is---wait for it--Organic!" The "other" carrot is identical or else it is not a carrot, but your True Believer doesn't care about that, and happily forks over the extra 20 cents per carrot. :)

I was reading something the other day that said drug cartels are starting to counterfeit "organic" products.

It seems there's more money and far less risk in it than drugs and without the violence or money laundering issues.

Food for thought, so to speak.
  • I remember in school in the 1950s they told us how in Japan in the 1930s they were getting going, but cheated by having a factory in "Usa" , Japan, so they could print on the product, "Made in Usa."

Of course, after a slight interruption in the 1940s, :( , they got going again and didn't need to cheat anymore.
