update on gas water heater ops

a while back I wrote about my gas not working on my water heater and the brakes not working to well when I push on the pedal. well to day I decided to install a new gas thingy in the water heater and when I disconnected the battery I found the terminals just green like my front lawn. go a brush and cleaned them up and the gas came on when I pushed the button. now to see if my brakes will work better but I don't know if the battery has any thing to do with that.

If that water heater's an Atwood, the edge connector to the board is a know problem. Techs spring the contacts back into tension (dental pick) then clean the copper circuit board edge with an eraser.

What chassis are you referring to with weak brakes? Make, Year, Model...
