Wondering about a wiring error even one battery reverse polarity. Remove component wiring and check everything for voltage and polarity. And if all OK have someone else check while you are not there to suggest anything. Sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees. Could also be equipment failure.

I read the Victron website and the Lynx shunt is rated 1000 amps and the maximum fuse is 800 amps. Not sure you need the maximum fuse as 350 amps should be fine.
Question is where is that power going? What did you just turn on when the shunt fails?
Usually a shunt is to measure power in/out of the battery so the charging system does not over charge/discharge the battery. I assume the actual shunt is burned through right?
I have a 50Amp shunt (analog meter) and I know it will open like a fuse if there is a short.
Or is this just a communication issue as said by 2oldman?

You only need to specify width or height, not both.
