Water Tank Gage

I'm going to follow your post. My water tank indicator reads empty, no matter how much water it has in the tank.

Our fresh water indicator never worked right so I added a simple level gauge with some tubing connected to the pump suction line. The valve at the top keeps the pump from pulling air down the tubing.

No sensors or electronics to fail!

My 2010 Park trailer the grey and galley show 1/3 full when its empty.When I see the water coming out of the drains thats when I know is time to drain them.:M

Isn't that what the shower is for? When there is no water the potable water tank is empty. When the shower pan won't drain the grey tank is full.

The sensors can be fooled if enough wet crud builds up on the tank wall.

Maybe you have algae on the fresh water tank walls. If so sanitizing with 1/4 cup of bleach per each 15 gallons of water should help.
I use the pump and run the treated water through the pipes and water heater and leave it overnight then flush everything out with fresh water.
