wf 9855an blown fuse

I would solder in a new fuse, maybe on a removable holder as mentioned, just to get you quickly through this trip. Then immediately order a powermax boondocker. I replaced my wfco with one last year and am very happy with it.

Now you know why they sell new circuit boards for Wfco by the dozens.
Don't waste your time on it.
The 87 and 8900 Wfcos were junk when they made them, caused a lot of Rver's a lot of grief, and after years, they didn't get no better.

I haven't seem a fuse on the board? picture?

This may have been an isolated incident with a surge after power was restored, or it might be a hard failure of the converter. The only way to find out is to replace the fuse and see if it blows again. The fuse may not have been made to snap in and out but it can be replaced. Does it look like a standard glass fuse with short pigtails coming off the ends that are soldered to the board? Try putting another 15A fuse across the existing one and soldering it in. Or put an inline fuse holder across the blown one.

Keep in mind your trailer is required to have a working battery to operate your electric brakes in case of trailer being disconnected when being moved as per State DOD laws...

Just a reminder in case your leaving for the next few days involved moving the trailer or not...
