You are correct. Polybutylene piping should be removed and replaced with PEX if you can get to it. PEX is a much better product. - mlts22ExplorerI think Flair-It has fittings that work with both pb and pex. They hand tighten on and can be removed without tools as well. You can get Flair-It Pro fittings that come with an application tool, but those will require being cut off if you need to remove them.
